Here is an Android app that lets you use your Vonage World home Service for making international calls from your Android device. It requires your Vonage Home Phone number and the online account password. Once the signin Information is provided users provide the international number they want to dial. The app will configure the Call Forwarding feature of the Vonage Home Service to the international number and initiates a call to your home phone number. Since your home phone is configured to forward the call to the international number the call will be connected to the international number. Once the call is terminated call forwarding will be disabled.
- This app uses the internet for configuring the Call forwarding feature.
- Internation number must be provided in the right format starting with 011 followed by country code and then the Phone number.
- A call is placed to your Vonage home Phone no. so airtime minutes will be counted
Here is the QRcode for the app in the market. Scan the Code from your android phone for installing the app on the device. you can also search for the app using the app name "VonageCF".

ReplyDeleteI have vonage (canada number) so I provide my number and the password to access my vonage account and then I tried to place a call from my cell using the apps, it calls my home number but the forward was not done, I checked in my account online and no forward call is done or configured.
Looks like it is slightly different for canada and uk vonage customers. I will post an update with support for canada and UK users as well.
